set is selected by means of this control, which has a calibrated dial
from0.81agto 1.00.

Product Description :  


Digital automatic control relay for  intelligent  control of capacitor bank.
Simple Commissioning: By automatic  identificaton of  threshold current(c/k  value),  phase angle, connected  capacitor  stages  and  switching sequences.
Operator Overview: Through clear display  of  key  momentary values and operating  parameter.
a. Power factor (cos Ø)
b. Apparent (RMS), active and reactive currents
c. 5th, 7th ,11th ,13th harmonic voltage content
d. Total Capacitive power required to meet target power factor setting

Monitoring of Harmonic Levels: By continuous monitoring and display of harmonic voltage levels. In the event of harmonic levels exceeding programmable limits, all capacitors will be switched off through over-current  alarm.

Additional Protection for Capacitors: The RMS current monitoring function provides excellent protection for capacitor bank without harmonic filters, especially when resonance
cause an increase in harmonic levels.

Potential-free alarm contact.
   
Programmable overcurrent alarm threshold limit(from 1.05 to 3.0 x Irms).
   
Continuous monitoring for defective capacitor stages through self adjustment of control program.
   
Zero voltage and zero current tripping with alarm signal.
   
Kinked" control curve characteristics avoid overcompensation under light load.
   
Four-quadrant power control with LED display when active power is generated into mains.
   
Manual/automatic operation with ability to switch each individual capacitor      stage ON or OFF.
   
Target power factor setting adjustable from 0.80 inductive to 0.95 capacitive  in steps of 0.01.
   
Preset up to three fixed capacitor stages which will be excluded from normal  automatic operation.
   
Independent setting of capacitor swithcing time to match discharge time of capacitor stages.
   
Suitable for current transformers with rated secondary current of 1A-5A.

b. High harmonic levels

d. Switching counters
e. Fault in voltage circuit (U = 0 alarm)
f.  Fault in current circuit (I = 0 alarm)

PF Target Power Factor (1.70 to 1.00)

PF Cap / Ind : Lagging /Leading Target Power Factor.

Dead band : Dead band for target Power Factor (0.00 t0 0.30).

Corr. Delay : Capacitor - switching delay (1 to 250).

Ct Rating 1A / 5A : Current rating for the current transformer/ (select 1 AMP if the CT input is received through the select 5Amp if the CT input is received through the R5 pin of the power connector).

Ct Ratio : turns ratio for the current transformer (1 to 200)

Program No : Program No. ( 1 to 33) (refer the program no. chart).

CB1 KVAr : KVAr rating of the first Capacitor Bank connected (0.5 to 99.5 KVAr)

General :

Power Factor is an important Electrical parameter needing control,State of theart microcontrolbased APFCR type 130 5is specially designed to control the powerfactor of aninstallation by giving signals to switch capacitors on and of in a FIFO/FILOmanner accordinglyandreliably. The controller is ~ousedin a COQ1pac Ftlush Panelmounting enclosure of size144x 144DIN and has all the required controls and indications arranged on the front panel. High barrier /
shroud edterminals are provided attherear of the casefor external connections. Solid state comonents are used through out with the exception of the electromechanical relays for the externals witch in gfor high reliability and compactness.The constructionis rugged, designed for years of troublefree service.
